Red Ledges is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Accounting Department as a Junior Staff Accountant. This full-time role will primarily focus on data entry, vendor reconciliation, and club member communication, with a range of responsibilities evolving as the position is shaped. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the fluidity and efficiency of our accounting operations, working across five entities.
Responsibilities:Primary focus on data entry and ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.Conduct vendor reconciliation and manage vendor communication, addressing any discrepancies or outstanding balances.Support the accounting team in various tasks, which may include assisting with the Accounts Payable (A/P) workflow, preparing aging reports, and contributing to monthly reconciliations.Address and resolve member statement inquiries, providing timely resolutions to billing and statement concerns.Collaborate with managers and the accounting team to adapt to dynamic accounting needs and tasks.Requirements:Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication abilities, both oral and written, to effectively interact with vendors and team members.Professional demeanor, with a reliable and proactive approach to tasks, both independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to adapt to evolving job responsibilities and learn new tasks.Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, is advantageous but not required.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze financial data.Experience:Previous experience in an accounting or similar role is preferred, offering a foundation in financial processes and systems.Background in the club/real estate industry is a plus but not essential.Our goal at Red Ledges is to maintain the highest standard of accounting practices, ensuring accurate financial reporting and control.
