In this role, you will:Develops and delivers training to new and existing NYCBS/NY Health team membersEnsure compliance and quality assurance with all Laboratory policies and proceduresResolving operational and technical issues as appropriateAssess team member's training/retraining needs and develop improvement plans.Develop positive work relationships with new team members and serve as a resource in their transition.Support program directors in developing and implementing programs.Collaborate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.Plan and prioritize retraining activities for best efficiency and effectivenessParticipate in all mandatory meetings.Effectively and creatively problem-solve and manage change within the Implementation teamEnsure a high level of quality assurance and quality standards within all NYCBS/NY Health Laboratories.Manage all new hires & training them in all aspects of laboratory dutiesTrain all employees according to SOP in all laboratory aspects until complete understanding is met.Revisit offices & employees following up on previously implemented policies and proceduresStandardize practices at all offices according to the best workflows are in placeTrain & implement new ideas to improve daily workflowTeach all lab employees the best time management skills to safely and correctly perform their daily workflow to minimize the use of OTOnboard new locations for all laboratory procedures and workflowReport any issues to the QA/QC Supervisor We require:A minimum of five years clinical or related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.3 years of Phlebotomy experience.
Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.Proficiency in Word/ExcelAn effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding.Willingness to take action and eager to accept new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.A good decision-maker, with proven success in making timely decisions that maintain high standards within the organization.Travel to any of the NYCBS/NY Health locations.Hours: Days, Monday-Friday & flexible as needed during project implementations.Salary up to $28hr.
