Description
Under supervision, performs routine analytical tasks in an analysis lab.
Performs routine analysis testing, including operation of lab equipment and utilization of current LIMS.
Prepares samples for analysis using appropriate techniques and performs sample preparation for quality control program.
Maintains laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Perform various administrative duties, including but not limited to, ordering supplies (stock issues, direct charge, etc.), departmental communications, site interactions (verbal and written), etc.
Assists in laboratory personnel training.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
One (1) year of direct lab experienceOR;
Associates related degree which includes six (6) months related lab experience.
Demonstrated experience in MS Office or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1 year of mechanical/maintenance experience
Experience working with LIMS/STARLIMS
Experience working with chemicals
Experience working with lab equipment (ICP, viscometers, particle analysis, etc.)
Criteria/Conditions:
Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor,
manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

What We Offer You?
The estimated pay range for this role is currently?$23.00 - $31.00/hour.This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
