Job Summary The University of North Georgia invites applicants for a full-time position of Lecturer in the department of Visual Arts to begin fall 2024. Primary job responsibilities will be on the Dahlonega Campus and involve teaching textile/weaving courses and other related courses as needed.
Responsibilities Demonstrate a successful record of and commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment. Duties and responsibilities include teaching up to four Art courses each semester, holding office hours, participating in Visual Arts student activities, and attending department meetings. Required Qualifications M.F.A. in Art with an emphasis in textiles/fibers. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience teaching college-level courses, a strong portfolio of student work, and experience in teaching on-line courses.
