Job Summary: Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling and possess a Maryland license as an LMSW or LGPC. Candidates with an LCSW-C or LCPC are highly preferred. The Licensed Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychotherapy and care coordination services, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management. This role involves delivering individual, family, and group therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet clients' specific needs.
Coordinate care and collaborate with other healthcare providers, community resources, and support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
Manage case files and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans.
Develop and implement discharge plans to ensure clients have continued support and resources post-treatment.
Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program.
Active Maryland license as LMSW or LGPC is required.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and case management services.
Strong understanding of therapeutic practices and ethical considerations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to licensing requirements.
