Riptide Technology is hiring a Lifecycle IT Asset Manager - Top Secret clearance to support our government customer based in Springfield, VA. The position is required to be onsite. The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. The Lifecycle Asset Manager (LAM) oversees the acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware and software across the Enterprise.
\n Responsibilities:Develops and implements organizational IT asset management policy, procedures, and best practices across all stages of the hardware/software lifecycle.Coordinates with IT teams to establish and maintain hardware/software lifecycle sustainment and refresh plans.Aids in the development of a centralized IT asset catalog and an IT asset management repository to automate and maintain hardware/software requests and statuses throughout the asset lifecycle.Tracks hardware/software versions and licenses to maximize Enterprise consistency, ensures timely renewals for support agreements, and provides statuses for relevant end of support dates.Oversees and ensures compliance with asset-related service level agreements between CIO stakeholders, sites, and vendors.Liaisons on behalf of IT teams to manage user/site asset requests and deployments while providing regular status updates to customers and escalations to senior leadership.Monitors asset inventory levels, establishes reorder thresholds, and engages with the procurement team to replenish inventory.Initiatives supporting activities in anticipation of upcoming organizational asset needs and objectives. Required Qualifications:Shall have 4 or more years of progressive, hands-on experience managing hardware and software assets across a geographically-dispersed IT Enterprise. Required Qualifications/Hands-on Proficiencies and Expertise in the following areas:Developing and applying IT asset organizational policy, procedures, and/or best practices across an IT Enterprise.Managing multiple simultaneous complex asset lifecycle projects and initiatives.Facilitating communications and maintaining statuses between various stakeholders, such as vendors, end-users, IT teams, project managers, and security and acquisition personnel.Developing and analyzing metrics to report on statuses and improvement opportunities.Utilizing IT ticketing systems such as WASP, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.Excellent written, verbal, communication, presentation, and reporting skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Understanding of DoD or IC IT acquisition policies and practices.Shall meet the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF). Required Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited University. Required Security Clearance:The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Desired Qualifications:Hands-on experience as an IT administrator or engineer responsible for installing and maintaining hardware devices and/or software licenses.Experience with ServiceNow's ITSM tools and asset management modules (e.g., CMBD, ITAM, HAM, SAM).Experience drafting, analyzing, and fulfilling SLAs between various IT stakeholders.Familiarity with the ITIL framework, Project Management Framework, IT Governance, Software Development Lifecycle (CDLC), and/or IT Service Management (ITSM).Familiarity with logistical and warehouse operations.Industry-standard IT Asset Management certification, such as Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), IT Asset Management Foundation Certification, IT Asset Management Essentials, or Certified OIT Asset Manager (CITAM).
