The work: Using LabVantage Systems: Analyze existing infrastructure (such as computers, peripherals, network) to identify gaps in technology and provide recommendations for improvement and system optimization. Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, and analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS solutions. Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications. Develop, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions. You will provide guidance to improve technology infrastructure to better support overall laboratory business. Here's what you need: At least 3 years' experience of Laboratory analytical work, preferably utilizing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or similar environment. BA/BS or MA/MS degree or equivalent training and experience. Experience developing reports, projects, reporting to PM as required.
