Lock Out Tag Out Technician

Responsibilities:

Conduct surveys of customer equipment to determine lockout/ tagout requirements.
Create diagrams illustrating lockout requirements.
Provide necessary graphics and production details for placards and tags.
Install placards and tags at customer sites.
Travel to customer locations (average of 15+ days/month).
Skills:

Prior lockout/ tagout experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Familiarity with the 7 primary energies.
Mechanical aptitude.
Understanding of various piping systems (Water, Steam, Chemical, etc.).
Electrical background is important.
Previous experience as a machine tool/automation builder is advantageous.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in using MS Word and Excel.
