Provide accurate and timely diagnostic information to physicians to aid in patient care decisions. Conduct autopsies to determine cause of death when required. Interpret and communicate pathology results to other healthcare providers. Maintain high standards of quality control and compliance with laboratory regulations and protocols. Participate in case reviews to discuss complex cases. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Skills: Extensive knowledge of pathology principles, techniques and laboratory practices. Minimum Education Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Residency training program in pathology by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).License & Certifications: Board certification in pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology (AOBP). Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas.
