Locums Hospitalist Job In Texas

We are seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician for an exciting locum tenens Hospitalist opportunity near Beaumont, TX. This role offers the chance to practice in a supportive, community-focused hospital setting within the lush landscapes of East Texas.
Position Highlights12-hour in-house day shifts: 8 AM – 8 PM.In-house call coverage: 8 PM – 8 AM (must be within 30 minutes of the facility).Coverage Requirements:7 shifts per rotation (flexible schedule available).Includes weekend and on-call responsibilities.Facility Details49 total beds with 7 ED beds.No ICU coverage required.Hospitalists are expected to intubate with assistance from the ED physician.Admission rate: ~10%.RequirementsActive Texas medical license and DEA.Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.ACLS, PALS, and DEA certification.Ability to perform intubations.Clean malpractice and background record.Additional InformationThe hospital is located a short drive from Beaumont, TX, and is easily accessible from surrounding metropolitan areas.A virtual interview with site medical leadership will be required.Competitive hourly rates (including holiday and overtime pay).Malpractice coverage provided.Assistance with travel and lodging as needed.If you are interested in exploring this opportunity, apply now using reference Job ID #2766.
