Responsibilities
Uses various programs and sources to research and catalogue materials in support of Procurement and Inventory/Warehouse Management.
Uses research acumen to search for material in multiple ways, including part number, description, and technical specifications and available substitute/comparable National Stock Number (NSN) items.
Query complex databases to match materials from generic descriptions and communicate with customers to understand product specifications.
Interprets data and verifies data from numerous Federal Supply Source Databases, including but not limited to WebFLIS, Haystack, NSSP, One Touch, FedMall, DLA Disposition, GSAXcess, GSA Advantage, and Navy ERP to match end user requirements.
Identifies Depot Level Repairable (DLR) items and provide relevant information to customers for MILSTRIP ordering.
Provides cataloguing data to the Navy ERP Business Office (NEBO).
Identifies and catalogs Federal Stock Class (FSC).
Screens customer requests for Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) that need to be brought into inventory and find/create stock numbers (NSNs and UMMs) that are required to perform the necessary material movement transactions in Navy ERP.
Locates available local OM&S stock on-hand and provide appropriate data to customers.
Updates standard operating procedures and process guides as needed.
Provides accurate and reliable metrics data that affect financial and operational reporting for Leadership.
Completes daily N-ERP transactions accurately to ensure new assets are recorded within required timeline.
Completes daily N-ERP actions (updates, issue transactions, etc.)

Assists with training technical customers new processes developed for property screening and material management offsite.
Interfaces directly with Technical Departments, local government POCs, Subject Mater Experts (SME), Inventory Specialists and Procurement Analysts, Personal Property Manager (PPM), Organizational Property Administrators (OPA), and the Container Control Officer (CCO).
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Must hold and maintain a DoD-issued Secret security clearance.
Associate's degree, or three to five years of work experience.
Experience with inventory management, procurement, or purchasing.
Ability to work independently across multiple online data bases to resolve issues and respond to customer requests.
Must be a detail-oriented and customer-focused team member.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Desired Qualifications:
Three years of related experience in inventory management, procurement, or purchasing.
Knowledge and experience with the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool.
Experience screening material requirements in various databases, including Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Haystack, Navy Logistics Library (NLL), One Touch and Navy ERP, IBPES; FEDMALL; GSA; One Touch Support.
Experience with creating Unique Material Master (UMM) records in Navy ERP.
