Job Description JOB TITLE --- Logistics Clerk LOCATION ----- Torrance CA - 90504
Duration ----- 6+ Months Contract (Extendable) - Opportunity for contract-to-hire.
Dictated pay rate is $31.5 an hour ( chance for some OT (overtime) as needed ) Shift Time - 2:00pm to 10:30pm Description: Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution. Organizes warehousing for goods. Reviews inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied. Plans and schedules pick and load order requests. Receive 916's parts from 100A warehouse and HFR parts from R&O tear down process to internal or external customers based on needs. Acts as liaison between customers, and 3rd party shipping department. Ensures on-time delivery of goods to customers, by investigating and resolving detention issues. Assists is cost control by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting most cost-efficient method of shipment within Department of Defense guidelines. Verify product and quantity in SAP to actual part numbers and quantities.
Receive product into SAP system of record and place in bin location.
Coordinate Lab runs with R&O leads by picking up and delivering units from the R&O shop to various Lab areas throughout the site.
Support R&O logistics team when requested and other miscellaneous duties upon request
Required :
Experienced in handling various materials pulling orders. Ability to be Forklift and Electric car certified 3 years of experience warehouse Lift 35lbs, climb ladders. Good communication skills with emails &Teams. Be good team player, and have good computer skills, excel, etc. Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
