**Job Description Summary**
Performs routine set up, operation, minor routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of moderately complex/automated manufacturing equipment.
Controls and adjusts machine settings.
Inspects in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and removes defective product, packaging, and component material.
Assists with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions.
Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
May monitor quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves basic issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality.

**Job Summary:**
Responsible for operating equipment to perform tasks in order to complete production of medical devices.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure all safety precautions are taken as required by procedure before starting machine.
+ Follows established procedures and guidelines for assigned area.
+ Perform routine checks on machines and equipment during shift operation.
+ Record keeping as trained.
+ Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area.
+ Assist with training new employees as needed.
+ Provide information to supervisors and managers about processes within assigned area.
+ All other duties as assigned.
+ Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
+ Comply with all laws, policies, and regulations applicable to one's position and comply with the Company's Code of Conduct.
**Job Qualifications:**
**Education:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
**Experience:**
+ Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
**Communication Skills:**
+ Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively within the department and across the organization.
**Special Skills:**
+ Basic computer skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, technical drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
**Physical Demands:**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must stand for long periods of time (approximately 8-12 hours per day); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend over; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
**Work Environment:**
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Exposure to dust and chemical fumes is minimal.
