The Maintenance Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the physical plant, ensuring the facility is in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include conducting preventative and restorative maintenance duties, negotiating and contracting with outside vendors, and adhering to established Federal, State, County, and City codes and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR 2+ years' experience in health care related maintenance and plant operations. One year of experience supervising others, including setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, managing change, providing performance feedback, and resolving conflicts. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to operate Windows 10 computer, read, write, and speak English. The ideal candidate will have performed the job duties of Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility and have experience using an electronic work order system.
