This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Here's what else you'll bring: Associate's Degree in engineering technology or related fieldAbility, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work any shift and work some overtimeA minimum of 4 years of combined experience and training like that required in a bona fide apprenticeship program like Industrial Controls or related field in Robotics, Siemens PLC, or AutomationExperience in the Maintenance Technician field in a manufacturing or automation environment.Experience working with blueprints, drawings, layouts, electrical schematics, or other specifications.Siemens (or similar) PLC, Robotics, Integration experience supporting manufacturing operations including knowledge and troubleshooting experience to locate and diagnose malfunctions in automation systems or equipment.Capable of using instrumentation, both mechanical and electrical, to perform diagnostics of the systems electro-mechanical functions.Experience in preventative maintenance including replacing broken or defective components in automation equipment or machines.Experience in Lean Management and Total Productive Maintenance.Documentation that verifies the following: Employment letters and training records; and manufacturing or automation experience in the Maintenance Technician field in Robotics, PLC or Automation.
