Maintenance Supervisor
Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning efficiently.
The role involves planning and executing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a manufacturing environment, particularly in fertilizer production.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations and tasks.Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.Perform troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques, particularly related to fertilizer production.Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
