Maintenance Supervisor Needed in Marion, IN. Job Description: We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our 3rd shift operations. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee all maintenance and engineering activities on the plant site, providing technical support to the maintenance team and developing/implementing continuous improvement opportunities for our equipment and practices. Your role will also involve supporting the implementation of preventive maintenance programs and controlling expenditures related to equipment, spare parts, and consumable items. You will be expected to train and supervise the maintenance staff, ensuring a safe and reliable maintenance program at the lowest possible cost. Your main focus will be to maximize production time, minimize upkeep costs and drive costs out of the manufacturing process.
Hard Skills Maintenance supervision 480 3 phase Microsoft Office Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing PLC controlled equipment Performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Utilizing computerized maintenance systems Managing and issuing parts Leading projects and continuous improvement activities Soft Skills Ability to teach, guide, and support team members Ability to lead when needed Ability to work in a team environment Ability to resolve maintenance problems Interviewing and training employees Planning, assigning, and directing work Appraising performance Work Environment In a climate-controlled, 500+ person facility. The maintenance team is composed of 15 total people, including 3 Supervisors and 4 leads. Candidates will be required to wear a hair and beard net. We are currently in a phase of expansion, with plans to add more production lines in the future.
