Job Description

You will work at The Yacht Club at Brickell Apartments, o ur sophisticated, waterfront community that is less than 10 minutes from downtown Miami and 6 minutes from the University of Miami. Check it out here: www.theyachtclubapartments.com
With limited direction, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs (i.e., completion of basic apartment turn, troubleshoot and repair plumbing leaks, install and replace sinks, faucets, and toilets. Troubleshoot and replace basic electrical components, etc.)
With minimal guidance, you will complete resident requested repairs and service (i.e., troubleshoot HVAC equipment, install/repair complex plumbing, troubleshoot/replace electrical components, install/repair/replace household appliances, etc.)
You will provide functional/technical direction and training to lower-level Service Technicians and support the development of technical skills
May assist with managing vendor quality
Qualifications
At least 2- 3years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment or relevant training/education program.
Basic skills in two or more technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
As an AIR Service Technician, you must have:
A reliable mode of transportation
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
Ability to read, write, and speak English
