You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the buildingLead and audit preventative maintenance proceduresInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts usedMaintain a positive working relationship across all of the Operations facilityDevelop training plans for service techniciansDevelop work plans for emergency repair of critical assetsBasic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics5+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance5+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics5+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs3+ years of work order managementPreferred Qualifications: Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field4+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldPrevious leadership experiencePrevious vendor management experienceExperience with robotic maintenancePHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipmentAbility to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required PPE, which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoesRegularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipmentInvolves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per dayWork in an environment with fluctuating temperaturesRegularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per dayC&W Services is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
