Lynch Family Companies GJL FarmsJob Description:Maintenance TechnicianSUMMARY:Responsible for general carpentry and repairs to buildings and grounds within the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be capable of regular and predictable attendanceAble to work overtime as neededAble to work holidays as neededAble to be on call for emergency site repairsGeneral carpentry, plumbing, electrical, steel fabrication, and concrete skillsGeneral repairs in offices, yards, and other buildingsReplacing light bulbsRepairing fencesRepairing doorsRepairing chutesRepairing damaged equipmentAble to use heavy equipment such as farm tractors, backhoe, skid steersAble to use a wide variety of hand and power toolsYard and landscapingSpraying for weedsSet up for special eventsSnow removalAble to follow Biosecurity requirementsSome overnight travel may be required for multiple site visits Performs other duties as needed and/or assignedQUALIFICATIONS: Job Requires travel during summer months, 2-4 days per week possible.Knowledge of confinement buildingsBasic constructionWelding abilitiesValid Driver's License Clean MVR WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment and physical characteristics are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
