Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance pertaining to a certain region of the company.

Responsibilities:
Ensure proper working order and assist in performing repairs to equipment and buildings that include plumbing, heating and cooling, painting, and electrical repairs.
Fix all lights including the interior and exterior of the building.
Check all signage and make a report for repairs, including pump decals.
Report all damage to the interior and exterior of the building.
Perform regular maintenance and repair on small appliances, car washes, and to existing fuel dispensing equipment in order to ensure proper equipment operation.
Assist in preventive maintenance procedures on all equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with governing agencies.
Use hand tools, power tools and testing instruments to repair and maintain machinery and equipment.
Stripe the parking lot, sidewalks, light bases and safety ballards.
Providing friendly and competent customer service.
Reporting for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
Additional Job Duties: Assisting in other duties, as assigned.
Overnight travel required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed): Six months general maintenance and construction experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively under broad guidance.
Must be able to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Must be able to communicate in English.
IF APPLICABLE Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs., while performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time and frequently walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
