BECK SUPPLIERS is GROWING and looking for talented Maintenance Professionals in the Cleveland, Columbus, and Toldeo area Job Summary The Maintenance Technician Level 3 is responsible for performing maintenance for various Beck facilities and FriendShip store locations. They may also perform similar work for non-Beck entities. The general scope of work will include all maintenance functions required for all business operations. He or she plays a key role in enabling the Beck organization to operate efficiently by performing day-to-day facility maintenance and installation operations efficiently and smoothly. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Troubleshoots general maintenance issues and communicates with the Maintenance Supervisor on assigned maintenance projects so that he has a good understanding of the nature and priority of the project. 2. Follows the daily project schedule developed by the Maintenance Supervisor. 3. Performs the assigned tasks efficiently and competently. 4. Maintains communication with Supervisor and/or Maintenance Coordinator as frequently as necessary to deal with day-to-day issues that affect efficiency and utilization. 5. Submits required field activity reports within the schedule required by Beck procedures. 6. Works with the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Coordinator, and Purchasing Manager to plan the amounts and delivery dates of parts and materials for the project, if necessary. 7. Keeps any job site inventory in a neat and orderly manner. 8. Completes accident reports completely and accurately, if necessary. 9. Maintains friendly, cooperative relationships with other Beck personnel. 10. Participates in safety programs as required by Beck procedures. 11. Complies with company policies and procedures. 12. Provides maintenance for various work scopes including maintenance for fuel systems, buildings, millworks, store equipment, HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, signage, site, and any other general maintenance required for the organization to operate. 13. Work with the Maintenance Supervisor for the dispatching of subcontractors as needed. Follow up on sub-contractor repairs to confirm projects are completed correctly and as requested. 14. Cross-train and work with other sub-divisions of the Facilities division as required. 15. Participates in the after-hours on-call rotations. Basis of Evaluation 1. No reportable safety violations that result in lost time or property damage. 2. Perform all assigned tasks in a complete, timely, and professional manner. 3. Maintain communications with supervisor and service requesters. 4. Provide complete and accurate paperwork for data entry. 5. Maintain job site and vehicle inventory in a neat and orderly manner.
