Manager, Digital Marketing & Communications

Performs professional and supervisory work assisting the Director of Strategic Communications in the development, implementation, evaluation, and oversight of digital marketing and communication programs, which includes establishing County-wide branding, website, and social media standards.
Creates, plans and manages a variety of programs and personnel including digital marketing, publications, special projects, employee education and citizen response.
Supervises staff that provides support to County departments, Administration, and the Board of County Commissioners.
Work involves considerable exercise of independent initiative and judgment.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Strategic Communications Director, and is reviewed through conferences, reports and achievement of results obtained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing and Management or related field; minimum of five (5) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity with major emphasis in planning, organizing and implementing digital marketing and communications programs working with electronic and printed media.
Equivalencies: Related Associate's Degree/unrelated Bachelor's Degree and seven (7) years of related experience; unrelated Associate's Degree and eight (8) years of related experience; graduation from high school and or an equivalent recognized certification with nine (9) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE IN: Print and digital marketing; website design and branding.
