Job TitleManager, Legal Counsel
Summary of the role:The Manager, Legal Counsel position will provide legal assistance to Amadeus within the applicable laws and regulations, ensuring the company activities are compliant with International, European, and national regulations.
In this role you'll:Americas Airline Distribution & Metasearch:Formulate and implement the Amadeus' airline distribution strategy in North America together with the Americas Travel Distribution commercial organization and LEG senior management.Draft and negotiate complex, high-value airline distribution contracts, with a special focus on North American airline customers.Provide timely and strategic legal advice and support to the upstream Travel Distribution commercial teams, with a special focus on North American airline customers.Draft and negotiate metasearch network/booking/search negotiations and contracts with both North American airlines and metasearch customers.Americas – Corporate:Support the Corporate Function in the Region to ensure company policies and industry best practices are respected.Ensure that intercompany agreements are in place and reflect the current corporate policies from central. Preparation of Board of Directors resolutions and Shareholder resolutions.Manage from the region, when applicable, the formation/dissolution/amalgamation of entities as directed from Madrid.Americas Travel Sellers & Corporate IT:Together with the Americas Travel Distribution commercial organization and LEG senior management, formulate and implement Amadeus' travel sellers distribution strategy in North America.Draft and negotiate contracts, including ones with Amadeus' largest multinational travel seller customers and partners in North America.Draft and negotiate corporate travel IT direct agreements with corporate customers, with particular focus on supporting negotiations with key strategic customers in North America.Provide support and advice to the corporate travel IT business with responses to RFPs for corporate customers and government entities in North America.Provide timely and strategic legal advice and support to the downstream Travel Distribution commercial teams, with a special focus on North American travel seller and corporate customers.Support the Travel Distribution strategy & business development team in building a rich ecosystem of technology solutions for the travel industry and the execution of Amadeus' Go-To-Market strategy in North America.Develop, implement, train and oversee Amadeus Group policies and procedures regarding commercial, legal, and regulatory matters, with adaptation to local market needs.MetaConnect Business Support:Support achievement of business objectives of MetaConnect vis-à-vis metasearchers and airlines.
