We are seeking a Managing Consultant to join Ricondo's team of talented aviation consultants in our Miami or Orlando office. Ricondo team members are passionate about working alongside airport management to solve the complex issues facing the aviation industry today. Our firm provides strategic planning services to airports across the United States and around the world, including operational and physical planning, master planning, environmental reviews, and business advisory services.

As a managing consultant, you will have a minimum of five years of experience and demonstrated increasing responsibility in airport consulting. You will work both independently and in collaboration with our diverse team of aviation professionals located in Florida and across the country to address challenges associated with airport infrastructure project development and implementation. You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise by participating in diverse aviation projects. The Managing Consultant will perform advanced forecasting and business planning analyses for airport clients. The role will also include supervising, training, and directing subordinate staff.

Core ResponsibilitiesPerforms project management, and prepares scopes of work and project budgets.Develop an overall project assignment approach/plan with the client/task leader.Identifies staff required to accomplish assigned tasks.Develop analysis methodology, task techniques, and plan with the client/task leader.Defines problems and coordinates with client/task leader.Formulates preliminary conclusions and recommendations on other assignments.Reviews and coordinates technical progress of junior team members.Develops final report outline and prepares complete reports and deliverables.Prepares and participates in client presentations and technical proposals.Provides advice, technical assistance, and written recommendations on airport planning studies.Participates in the development of proposals, marketing/business objectives, and strategy, and attends conferences.Performs related work as required. RequirementsBachelor's degree in a field that provides a strong foundation for aviation consulting, such as finance, accounting, business / quantitative analytics, economics, statistics, business administration or aviation management, or mathematics.Minimum of 5 years of experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility in airport consulting, management consulting, or related field.Possesses a familiarity with the airline industry or a desire to learn and grow in the aviation industry.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Knowledge and experience with analytical techniques and related tools, including statistical, spreadsheet, database, simulation, or modeling tools such as VISSIM, SketchUp, and/or AviPlan.Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel to support Ricondo's global project portfolio. PREFERRED SKILLS AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISEMaster's degree in a field that provides a strong foundation for aviation consulting, such as engineering, aviation management, mathematics, statistics, business administration, or economics.Extensive knowledge of best practices, methods, and principles utilized in strategic planning, financial analysis, forecasting, and/or airline revenue analysis.Ability to apply advanced professional knowledge of the principles of management, business, marketing and administration in directing, supervising, and coordinating large and complex airport analysis projects.Extensive knowledge of analytical techniques and related tools including statistical, spreadsheet, and databases.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with senior executives and staff at client organizations.Knowledge of U.S. federal regulations related to airport grant funding and Passenger Facility Charges authority. Soft SkillsSelf-motivated: individual who can take initiative to identify creative and technically sound solutions, and the ability to work well with staff both in-person and remotely in other locations. Willingness to learn new skills necessary to perform and grow as an airport planning consultant.Detail-oriented: in analytic and technical writing assignments, the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences and to edit for consistency and grammar.Proactive and effective communicator: excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients.Highly organized: plan and prioritize work assignments and demonstrate ability to manage concurrent assignments with different teams.
