Job Description:
As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and impactful instruction to our students. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing quality instruction through well-prepared classes, relevant assignments, and fair assessment methods.
Ensuring academic success for all students, including those who may be at-risk.
Teaching assigned courses with enthusiasm and expertise.
Preparing course materials and lessons effectively, tailoring them to meet student needs.
Clearly communicating course expectations, evaluations, and timelines to students.
Designing interesting and relevant assignments that reflect real-life learning outcomes.
Engaging and communicating with students to encourage participation and mutual respect.
Completing all assessments, grade books, and administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
Responding to student inquiries within 48 hours to provide timely support.
Identifying and referring at-risk students to appropriate academic support services.
Ensuring that course and program learning outcomes are achieved as defined by the syllabus.
Maintaining safety and sanitation standards in labs and classrooms where applicable.
Posting and managing office and classroom schedules efficiently.
Supporting retention activities at the program, campus, and university levels.
Participating in professional development activities and in-services regularly.
Maintaining required credentials as per accrediting councils/agencies and regulatory bodies.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience for undergraduate instruction; five (5) years for graduate instruction.
Master's Degree or higher in the relevant field from an accredited institution.
Doctorate preferred for teaching graduate-level courses.
Satisfactory completion of background check.
Submission of resume, curriculum vitae, and unofficial transcripts.
