Job Description:


The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in executing marketing/business development programs and will support the Firm's digital presence, plan and coordinate events, and assist with internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will be a creative, independent thinker with a sharp eye for detail; and an organized multitasker able to handle several diverse projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.


Core Duties and Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with preparation for client/prospect visits, including preparing presentations, packaging marketing/advertising materials, catering arrangements, etc. Maintain and coordinate firm's Continue Education (CE) program for insurance adjusters Coordinate with various Departments of Insurance (DOI) and other organizations to acquire and maintain CE accreditation Ensure CE program compliance with DOI guidelines and assist in the development and administration of appropriate procedures to meet accreditation guidelines Submit CE applications to accrediting agencies, ensuring timely submission to meet deadlines Submit attendee credits to agencies and maintain required documentation/records Plan, coordinate and attend CE training seminars Maintain archives and files of various materials received from individual attorneys and practice groups, including, but not limited to attorney bios, resumes, articles, newsletters, presentation materials, and proposals Order and maintain inventory of collateral materials and promotional items Plan and coordinate firm events, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and participation in professional and industry conferences Manage and execute event follow-up activities Assist attorneys to prepare for speaking engagements and client visits, including preparing presentations, packaging marketing/advertising specialty materials, catering arrangements, etc. Produce, update, and maintain marketing materials for print & web, including practice area descriptions and attorney bios Assist with the preparation of proposals, PowerPoint presentations, and other client-facing materials Manage and organize marketing materials and supplies, including brochures, exhibit materials, promotional items, etc. Assist with new attorney onboarding and integration as well as attorney promotions, including preparation of announcements and web bios Develop, prepare, and place firm press releases. Draft/disseminate other communications materials such as electronic newsletters and alerts Maintain social media for the firm, including monitoring activity and posting content Maintain and update attorney profiles on internet directories and firm website Assist in the development and implementation of short and long-term marketing objectives and individual business development plans Provide general departmental support, including drafting of correspondence and reports, attending meetings, maintaining a marketing filing system and responding to general attorney marketing requests Maintain archives and files on various materials received from individual attorneys and practice groups (attorney profiles, resumes, articles, in-house newsletters, presentation materials, proposals, etc.) Enter and maintain data regarding marketing/business development expenses in tracking systems Other Duties:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English or a related field, and 3-5 years of Marketing experience


• Prior Marketing experience in a law firm or other professional services setting preferred


• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)


• Must be able to prioritize competing needs, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure and with minimal supervision


• Acute attention to detail
