ResponsibilitiesProvide marketing, promotional, advertising, and organizational support to the Marketing/Casino Marketing Department. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Advertising:
Coordinate marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal departments.Supports the development of press releases and media correspondence in relation to marketing programs or property advertising.Promotions:
Organizes and executes the regularly scheduled entertainment acts for all performances on property. Monitors calendar for promotions at the property following the strategy of the promotions department. Manages oversight of media used to communicate current and upcoming promotional efforts for the guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.Social Media:
Organizes and coordinates the marketing efforts for all communication efforts for the company in the social media sphere, with a consistent and appropriate voice. Monitors social media and web for opportunities to engage in active and relevant conversations about the property. Supports the property brand on social media as directed by management.Monitors and responds to online reviews/reputation management for the property within established guidelines.Conducts social media and internet research activities for the property marketing team as applicable.Provides organic social media analytics reporting as needed.Special Events:
Coordinate and track, as needed, groups responding to special and VIP party events. Dress in appropriate uniform/attire based upon event/venue, occasionally a costume may be used.VIP Services/Player Development:
Assist with event planning, event execution and coordinating player RSVPs.Assist with player coding in database and hosted player reporting.Assist with inbound cross property & NCM player requests.Assist in resolving guests' opportunities, conflicts and complaints on behalf of the company in fair and equitable manner.Assist the Executive Casino Hosts & Casino Hosts as needed regarding comp execution and other assigned duties.Build, maintain and distribute the in-house list of VIP players.Basic knowledge of casino credit.Proactively seeks out new business introducing our loyalty program and soliciting enrollment.Devotes significant time being visible and available on the casino floor in order to meet and greet guests during individual visits as well as during special events.Complete all sales force tasks requirements in a timely manner.Maintain confidentiality of players information including but not limited to personal information such as name, address, telephone number, email address as well as level of play, number of visits and win/losses.Provides professional representation on behalf of the company at internal and external meetings and events.Adheres to corporate and local policies, procedures and operating guidelines.Other duties as requested by the Director of Casino Marketing.Provide positive communication and use ACES Training skills with every patron and co-worker.Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None AUTHORITY TO ISSUE COMPS: Yes ACCESS TO GAMING AREA REQUIRED: Yes RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.Technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.Demonstrated ability to drive toward results.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) year of related experience required, preferably in Marketing.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
REASONING ABILITY: Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
