This position is an integral part of developing and executing external marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness for product promotion, as well as supporting occasional internal employee communications.
Its goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that support and strengthen our reputation, core values, and growth.
Role and Responsibilities Research, outline, write and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedures, marketing brochures, technical specifications, procedure manuals, and process documentation.
Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability.
Own Equipment Operation and Safety Manual and Maintenance Manual content with regular updates as required by Engineering and/or Service department requirements.
Tradeshow planning, coordination, execution, and postmortem activities Act as the key point of contact for the Dealer Promotional Item Site by managing the inventory of promotional items and marketing collateral material.
Assist in creation of new and updated content, including digital graphics for website, whitepapers, business cases, and articles as needed.
Assist with brochure, banner ads, advertising graphic design using Adobe Master Suite Coordinate monthly newsletter content, send through MailChimp platform, and generate delivery reports.
Oversee product sales information and manage customer satisfaction survey process.
Support Sales Team as needed with marketing and digital material.
Support Marketing Manager in development of ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
Collaborate with Sales, Service, and other professionals inside and outside the company to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
Assist in planning and executing to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, trade media, etc.)
Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience in working with Engineers to improve user experience, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proven experience as Marketing Specialist or similar role Understanding of marketing elements.
Solid computer skills, including MS Office.
Self-motivated, well-organized and detail oriented Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
Experience in writing documentation for marketing brochures.
BSc/BA in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience Preferred skills / abilities Advertising writing, copywriting and script writing, digital design, digital marketing, graphic design, graphic communications, image editing, multimedia advertising, targeted advertising, video editing, website administration Marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development tools (e.g., WordPress, Dreamweaver)
