Material Handler

This is a direct hire Material Handler position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package.

Details: • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am, overtime on Fridays • Pay range between $18-20/hr. based on skills and experience +$1.00 shift differential • Osseo, WI Position Information:
• Ensure all resources are scheduled for production and ensure proper staging
• Identify and maintain material staging areas; allowing adequate access for machine operators
• Keep designated areas and aisles free of clutter and compliant with company policies
•Maintain accurate counts on material ensuring correct allocated amount of designation materials
• Storage areas ae well organized and safe
• Correctly labeling all materials, bin locations, and WIP
• Use ERP system to execute jobs and to record production data
•Follow established procedures for inventory control and material handling
• Provide backup support for the Material Coordinator
• Other duties as assigned
 
Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Preferred 3 to 5 years forklift – battery and electric
• Functional knowledge of inventory with previous ERP a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel, Access, and Word
• Ability to read a tape measure in English and metric
• Strong math skills along with problem solving
