Job Summary The Medical Assistant in the Clinic is accountable for performing duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices and competency. Position is a float position providing support at the Carlson Street Clinic. Education and/or Experience Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma required upon hire. Six or more years in a healthcare setting and/or Medical Assisting Licensure/Certification/Registration Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire. Must be licensed through one of the following upon hire:
National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT). National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association. Work Schedule Clinic hours: 8:00am-5:00pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
