Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to ELISA, immunoassays, and other diagnostic tests.- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various tests and experiments.- Ensure accuracy and precision in all laboratory processes and results.- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.- Maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS) to track and manage test results.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.- Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and procedures.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred.- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical laboratory practices.- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data management.- Experience with ELISA, immunoassays, and other laboratory techniques.- Familiarity with aseptic technique and proper handling of biological specimens.- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.*#INDMEDICAL*Job Type: Full-timePay: $67,301.00 - $73,181.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* Night shiftAbility to Relocate:* Lafayette, LA: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
