Stewart & Stevenson is Now Hiring Methods Analyst at 10750 Telge Road Houston, TX 77095. The successful candidate will be responsible for all of the duties of a Methods Analyst I as well as the following duties: Creating Units of Measures, manually creating discrete/non-discrete jobs, creating departments and resources, set up locators and assign to inventory, customer item setup and cross reference as well as other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Ability to use PDM and understands basic concepts of structured indented bills of materials. Understands part process flow through a manufacturing center and can develop routings based on that. Ability to meet tight deadlines and requires multitasking of projects. Works with project engineers' hand in hand to get direction on BOM's. Must take direction well and be able to work well in a group environment as well as on their own. May interact with clients and expected to perform in a professional manner and present a professional image at all times. Some travel may be required. Ability to use Microsoft Office products. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint. Ability to use Oracle. Responsible for setup of master items, customer items, UOMs, resources, sub-inventory locator values, routers, and bill of materials. Responsible for continual maintenance of item master and routers. Ability to create jobs, issue materials, complete, review and close jobs to correct errors in the system such as item having incorrect revision or serial number format. Work with Reman group to define material demand, operations, and resources for Reman/Service jobs. Implement ECOs to released and/or on hold status WIP after system implementation of ECO to unreleased status WIP. Ability to use BOE (Business Objects) to create and run report. Ability to work on special projects with supervision. Ability to use Data Tool to push in large amounts of data to Oracle. Must be able to understand script and write code. Ability to understand and utilize SQL Data loaders. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be highly motivated and able to produce quality work in a timely manner. Assist in the creation and improvement of company product bills of materials and routings. Identify solutions to unique and complex problems. Required to follow all company and departmental procedures. Willingness to be on call or travel. Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience:
5-7 years of experience with manufacturing and/or oilfield equipment parts.
