Millwright Foreman - Industrial

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management to organize crew, materials, and equipment to achieve the highest productivity and quality and lowest cost in line with the budget.
* Supervise and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
* Responsible for the safety of the crew and willing to conduct all operations in accordance with all company and government safety rules.
* Responsible for the communication of safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to leadmen and crews.
* Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
* Install, align, dismantle, rig, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans
* Analyze production results and establish appropriate corrective actions, if required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
* 10 years of experience as a millwright in a heavy industrial environment.
* A minimum of 5 years of crew supervision experience.
* Must be comfortable working at any height.
* Experience identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment issues including bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, open gears, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts.
* Must have experience using hand tools, power tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, scales, laser alignment machines, optical levels, and plumb bobs.
* Must be proficient in using precision tools such as inside & outside micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
* Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under his/her supervision.
* Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with craft workers under his/her supervision and management/supervision.
* Ability to safely operate equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
* NCCER Certification is a plus.
