This role in summary
This position will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Your responsibilities will include
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Work using safe procedures and practices: report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to supervision.
Uses all designated safety equipment, observes all safety rules, and follows recognized rules of safe practice. Implement 5S.
Read and interpret blueprints for the mechanical operation and assembly of conveyor systems, material handling systems, robots, and other automation
Use various hand or power tools for measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, soldering, assembling, joining, and installing pipes, valves, and fittings
Installation, maintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment and facilities.
Operate mobile equipment (e.g. forklifts, vertical lifts, cranes)
Service and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
Required to make productive maintenance inspections and repairs
Welding & metal fabrication (Layout, cutting, bending, drilling, punching and machining)
Work effectively with your peers to share knowledge and leverage strengths
Utilize excellent communication and documentation skills to transfer critical process and support knowledge to others
Put priority on one's safety and those around you.
Use Lean principles, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), PM and AM support, EWO tools, and 5S as a tool to help our plant run more efficiently.

Minimum requirements
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to read electrical schematics
Proven skills in layout, parts fabrication, blueprint reading, metal and materials, rigging, mechanical principles and repairs, operation of machine tools
Able to stand for a long duration of time, in excess of 8 hours a day
Able to bend over and rotate body repeatedly
Able to lift 50 pounds floor to waist
Basic use of Google Suite and the Google Drive
Able to temporarily adjust work schedule to accommodate training/projects needs.
Basic electrical safety knowledge
Able to work overtime as needed.
Education and Experience
Millwright Journeyman's card (Required)
In place of a Journeyman's card - 5 years of mechanical repair experience
