1st Shift Position
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday thru Friday)
The Molding Machine operator is tasked with operating multiple thermo set molding machines and deflashing equipment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, adjust and operate multiple molding machines using CNC controls.
Conduct first piece inspection to ensure drawing specifications are met and complete the product attribute sheet.
SPC data inspections.
Maintain a production log of completed piece parts, separate parts and packages complete for shipping to next phase of operation using fork or pallet truck.
Dispose of scrap material to proper location.
Ensure the highest quality at all times and maintain a safe and clean work area.
Perform daily maintenance on equipment.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform as operator in other areas as needed.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a level of knowledge usually associated with a High School diploma with three months to one year of plastic molding experience.
