Natural Resources Specialist I

Job summary
Review and evaluate Public Water Systems ( PWS ) data related to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ( TCEQ ) Ground Water, Revised Total Coliform, Chemical, Surface Water and Public Notice (PN) rules.

Responsibilities
• Review and evaluate Ground Water Rule, Revised Total Coliform Rule, Chemical Rule, Surface Water Rule PN data.• Review data submitted by PWSs and laboratories.• Identify systems with violations.• Provide technical assistance related to Revised Total Coliform Rule and other needed areas to Public Water Systems.• Work with the team to create/review/revise documents.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience in data analysis, environmental quality management, public utilities, business administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted as appropriate.• Excellent communication skills.• Experience with databases and reviewing technical documents.
