Neurophysiology Tech, Prn Nights

JOB PURPOSE:
Perform all aspects of diagnostic testing in the EEG Lab.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate, some college preferred. Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPT.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year experience in EEG.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform patient chart review and patient interview.Perform lead placement and review impedance.Perform study acquisition of routine, sleep, and portable EEGs.Complete documentation of all studies performed, complete monthly reports.Communicate with others in the lab, nursing, and physician staff.Manage the environment by keeping equipment clean and in working order.
