About the JobAre you ready to lead a team of Cardo Hotel Ambassadors and ensure all our guests will have an exceptional experience? Your duties will include:
Welcoming guests and instantly making them feel at easeRegistering guests according to local guidelinesResponding to guest requests and handling guest problems and complaintsEnsuring correct invoicing and guest paymentsFulfilling administrative tasks like reporting, responding to calls & emailsAssisting guests with luggage and packagesMonitoring people entering the building and reporting any suspicious activityWelcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standardsProcessing all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requestsEnsuring rates match market codes, documenting exceptionsVerifying/adjusting billing for guests & securing paymentCommunicating to appropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available roomAdvising guests of messagesClearing departures in the computer systemCoordinating with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concernsFiling guest paperwork or documentationPreparing daily reports for hotel managementOperating telephone switchboard stationRunning and checking daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reportsCash-guests' checks, processing all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and providing changeAnticipating and addressing guests' service needs; assisting individuals with disabilities; supplying guests with directions and informationAnswering, recording, and processing all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns; following up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfactionThanking guests with genuine appreciationCounting and securing bank at beginning and end of shiftHosting guests for Food & Beverage outlets, Wellness, meetings, and (social) eventsFollowing company policies and procedures; reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to managerEnsuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalMaintaining confidentiality of proprietary information; protecting company assetsSpeaking using clear and professional language; answering telephones using appropriate etiquetteDeveloping and maintaining positive working relationships; supporting team to reach common goals; listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of employeesEnsuring the safety and security of all hotel guests, team members, and propertyStaying alert during their entire shift to screen for security. As the first point of contact with people entering the building, looking out for suspicious activity and may check for identification or ask visitors to log inNotifying Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theftFollowing company policies and procedures; reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to managerComplying with quality assurance standardsFlexible working hours, including evenings, weekend days, and nightsProviding feedback to superiors regarding staffing levels and department-specific situations to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are metPerforming other reasonable job duties as requested by SupervisorsIn order to ensure high-quality recruitment and selection processes we collect your personal data with the help of Jobtoolz, our online application platform.
