As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will take a pivotal role in architecting and building scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our platform's future, as you mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to our mission of transforming the financial landscape.
What You Will Get To Do: Lead the design and development of software applications in Node.js ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security.Collaborate with architects and product teams to contribute to the platform's technical roadmap and future enhancements.Use agile development methodologies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices.What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience.Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
