We are seeking an experienced Global Nonprofit Controller to join our Washington, DC-based organization. Our team plays a crucial role in supporting high-impact programs across more than nine countries, with a strong commitment to empowering these initiatives to achieve their goals. Responsibilities include processing and recording financial transactions, budgeting, and ensuring compliance. We are a nearly paperless organization, utilizing Sage Intacct and Excel as our primary tools. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work in a hybrid or remote capacity, though some travel (approximately 10%) will be required.
Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 per year

Responsibilities This position will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for managing all accounting and auditing functions that support the mission. The Global Controller will support the high-impact programs across 9 different countries and will work directly with the teams in those countries as well as with the US team. Experience with Sage Intacct is highly preferred.
This role can be hybrid or remote and there is 10% domestic and international travel required. It is highly preferred that this person live close to Washington, DC but candidates with global experience within a nonprofit that live outside of the DC area will be considered as well.
