Responsibilities: The prospective candidate will collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents and other professionals to create a safe, healthy, productive and supportive learning environment for all. The school psychologist will evaluate students and write psychological evaluation reports to determine eligibility for special education services. Evaluations may include FBAs, Classroom Needs Assessments, and other specialized assessments. The school psychologist will evaluate students as to risk to self and/or others and provide consultation to administrators and school teams regarding such evaluations as necessary. Duties may include administration of universal screening tools, including data management and progress monitoring to guide the individual, classroom and school wide program planning. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations that govern the identification of students with disabilities. Experience: Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.
