Nurse Practitioner (Adult/Inpatient/General Medicine)
Location: Clarion and Belmond, Iowa
Schedule:
Option 1: 24-hour shifts, 1 week on (Sunday 6pm - Friday 6pm), 1 week off.
Option 2: 24-hour shifts, alternating between Sunday 6pm - Tuesday 6pm and Tuesday 6pm - Friday 6pm, 1 week on, 1 week off.
Housing provided during week on rotation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient care including managing adult and geriatric patients, coordinating with specialists, and facilitating discharges.
Collaborate with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
Actively participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner Licensure in State of Iowa
Inpatient experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or relevant specialty.
Ability to work autonomously with little direct physician oversight.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary of $150,000 - $175,000 annually.
