The Algorithms, Modeling & Assessments (AMA) Division of ARA is seeking an energetic, well-organized Office Administrative Assistant for our Arlington, VA office. The qualified candidate will have 4 - 5 years of previous experience as an administrative assistant. AMA's Office Administrative Assistant will provide support to ensure efficient operations of the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative support tasks in support of a multidisciplinary team.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. What you'll do as an Administrative Assistant: Provide administrative support to the Division technical staff, including: Answer incoming telephone calls. Meeting preparation and support (i.e. teleconference, food, visitor log) Greet and check in visitors. Order and manage office supplies. Manage conference room scheduling. Submit and coordinate facilities work orders. Other general administrative duties as assigned. Receive, send out and sign for FedEx, USPS, UPS, etc. packages. Book travel and expense trips for Senior Management Assist the Assistant Division Manager with managing tasks related to facilities, office renovations and office leases for AMA's other geolocated facilities. Administrative Assistant Position Requirements: Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 4-5 years of related experience. Ability to multi-task. Ability to keep sensitive information confidential. Must be process oriented and flexible, being able to handle constant change and interruptions with a proven record of increased productivity. Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be able to utilize resources in order to meet deadlines.
