We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Online PR Associate to join our team in Charlotte. - Monitor online presence and make recommendations to optimize content performance.
- **Media Relations:**
- Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers in the industry.
- Coordinate and manage media outreach, including pitching stories, arranging interviews, and facilitating press events.
- Track media coverage and compile reports on PR initiatives' effectiveness.
- **Social Media Management:**
- Help develop and execute social media strategies that promote Univar's brand and drive engagement.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- **Crisis Management:**
- Assist in developing crisis communication strategies and prepare responses to media inquiries during sensitive situations.
- Monitor public sentiment related to the company and respond appropriately in real-time.
- **Market Research:**
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR strategies.
- Stay updated on new media tools and emerging trends to enhance PR initiatives.
- **Event Coordination:**
- Support the planning and execution of promotional events, webinars, and other outreach initiatives.
- Assist in developing materials for events and ensuring effective promotion.
- **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with marketing and communications teams to align PR initiatives with overall business goals.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successful media relations and outreach efforts.
