Operations Associate

Our client is seeking full-time entry level Operations Associates to join our world-class high-performing self-directed team-based Manufacturing Operation located in Frederick, MD
\n Key FunctionsWork safely and effectively in an industrial team-based environment, be responsible for many items traditionally managed by leadership such as leading safety, managing performance, conducting training, and improvement projects .Work safely and unsupervised and make decisions based on established standard practices and at certified associate skill level. Responsible for the daily operation of manufacturing process equipment and forklifts. Perform Preventive Maintenance and clean-up of equipment. Perform Quality Checks and ensure production of a quality product.Problem-solve and troubleshoot reliability issues. Regularly be involved in process improvement.Conduct and complete required paperwork and recordkeeping. Participate in meetings and skill and development training sessions. Communication and interpersonal skills are especially important in this position.  QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrialHigh School Diploma or GED Must have English as a primary or second language. Excellent communication skills Experience in and/or willingness to work in a Self-Directed/ Multi-Skill Team environment. Ability to work effectively within a team settingIndustrial Manufacturing experience and Industrial Maintenance Certifications a plusProficient in MS Office or familiar with computers/platformsWillingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. Successful completion of pre-employment testing process.
