Outside Plant Inspector

Job Summary The Outside Plant Fiber Planner and Field Inspector is present on fiber optic construction projects to ensure that the fiber cable is being constructed properly and meeting the project requirements. The field staff will coordinate the various activities on the project and also take detailed field records of the installed fiber cable. Please note: This is a full-time 100% travel role. Responsibilities and Duties OSP Fiber Planners and Field Inspectors route and determine fiber placementReviewing permits and ROWOverall supervision and project managementInspecting quality and recording field records Qualifications and Skills Valid US Driver's license, clean driving recordAbility to read and understand maps, drawings and diagrams for fiber constructionFiber and outside plant knowledgeStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently under minimal supervisionMust be able to sit for periods of time and be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing and walking in construction areas Benefits Vantage Point is offering full-time positions with benefits and contract positions for these openings.
