Position Summary The sales representative maximizes NABCO Market share and revenue by selling product and servicing customers in support of the organization's financial, marketing, and production goals. Essential FunctionsGenerate new sales and target new accounts in an assigned territory.Work in close cooperation with branch and headquarter employees. Maintain updated information in CRM and related systems for quoting, selling, and placing orders.Perform duties associated with the sales process of furnishing, installing, and servicing automatic and manual doors and components.Prospecting customers, presenting info, consulting, estimating, generating quotes, securing contracts, managing projects, and other related tasks associated with turnkey projects. Significant travel is required since frequent and regular visits to customers and potential customers is necessary. Must drive, walk, and work in all weather conditions, including hazardous on rare occasion. Periods of sitting and working at a computer may also be necessary. Sedentary work is performed in an office. Typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and phone are used. There may be exposure to factories or jobsites that include noisy, dusty, and dirty environments and motorized equipment that may pose safety hazards. Reaching is necessary above shoulder height and below the waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. as required to assist with materials; proper lifting techniques required. Travel may also be requested to any company manufacturing and branch locations in the US and Canada.
