This is a fulltime position as a Packaging Food Specialist. Industry: Paper / Packaging / Containers Job Category: Sales / Marketing The Ideal Candidate: Specialist in Packaging Food Products with a broad mix of applications e.g. meat cheese. Ideally will have had some experience with either a broadline distributor like Veritiv (Unisource or Xpedx) Bunzl or regional or local independents Preferred Offered different packaging opportunities for customers including: Barrier shrink bags Thermoforming films (flexible and semi rigid) VFFS & HFFS films for variety of applications Lidding films Rigid packaging (barrier & nonbarrier trays cups) Stand Up Pouches Premade bags/pouches in variety of formats Miscellaneous primary packaging (papers folding cartons labels EPS trays) Create and execute territory development strategy with field management. Work closely with Equipment Specialists to ensure consumable sales with equipment sales. Develop and maintain suppliers to support local territory and SupplyOne. Train sales force and internal staff on Food Packaging related matters products processes equipment suppliers and food processing environments. Assist local merchandisers and purchasing agents on identifying and aligning suppliers especially for PMP opportunities. Attend regional & national association meetings.
