Position Title:Palliative Care Physician - Hospital Employed Location:Miami, Florida Job Description: Are you a compassionate physician dedicated to providing holistic care to patients with terminal conditions? An exciting opportunity awaits you in Miami! We are seeking a Palliative Care Physician to join our hospital-employed team, focusing on delivering exceptional care to patients throughout Miami-Dade County. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will play a pivotal role in the medical center, primarily focusing on patients with terminal conditions, with a special emphasis on cancer patients. Collaborating closely with our existing psycho-oncology department, social work, clergy, and various hospice care agencies, you will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Provide palliative care services to patients with terminal conditions, with a focus on cancer patients, within the medical center and across Miami-Dade County. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psycho-oncology, social work, clergy, and hospice care agencies, to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in clinical practice and teaching activities to support the growth and development of palliative care services. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish preferred) to effectively communicate with patients and families from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications: Board certification/eligibility in Palliative Care. Valid Florida medical license. Previous experience in Palliative Care is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
